One thing I would like to add to this discussion. Currently you can appear on all of the states' lifetime stats pages if you have posted any prediction in any state for the last 60 days. That same 60 day criterion should be set for the individual's lifetime stats for the specific state until such member posts again for that state (regardless of all-state or state-specific type of prediction).This would help people compare apples to apples in their state a little easier. I don't normally play in any of the states that Dash won in yesterday. I would have lost, but maybe Dash is doing very well in one or two states (I didn't check) and one could play in those states.I know we are beating a dead horse to death. That is not my intent, I was just trying to show that there are some people that can predict for all states and do very well.

And this is from yesterday's winners list posted now. And Dead_Aim only used 10 picks per post, not 24 like fasteddie (who I compare to often, btw) and they were state and drawing specific. This is the type of info I am looking for and if Todd sees fit we will be able to find it all on one page. just thought i'd throw in that maddog is an excellent all states predictor. and i have technically made more money playing like that. i remember one day Nbey6 told me to play 850 because it would fall straight within 3 draws, fell that night and i won. reguardless maddog has proved himself greatly when he posts for single states (like ohio) it seems he is just as accurate. if you do watch his numbers they do hit quite a bit more than random picks would, and the triple he picks for the month has... And that is why I am asking for the other option. I want to see the stats of the people that are not using the all states. I want to see if their stats are any better than the others that use all states. That way I don't have to go from state to state to get the info I want. It would be easier to do if they are all in one central location like the top predictors page now. If we don't change the current setup, why would people be so opposed to the added option

I just did a check on predictions for California for today. Looking at Pick 3 only there are 35 people predicting. When the Hide All States is checked, there are only 6 people! So, the vast majority of the people that predict using the Prediction Page use the All States post.

when you are looking at all states prediction page you can accces people who have only posted for your particular state by clicking the box at the top left hand corner of the pages header markedHide All States PicksIf the poster has only posted for individual states you will see his or her picks only. To create a seperate data base for stastics just to isolate people who post only for one state at a time would require a seperate data base.many days when i have checked this box for different stat... It seems to me that the real solution to what is being discussed is to look at the stats for the person that is a top predictor and check for your state. It doesn't matter if he posts 50 numbers for each state using all states or however he/she does it. The stats will show the true results. As I pointed out earlier, I don't normally post for all states, but I'm going to try it. I spent quite a bit of time (using the Deflator 3) getting the top hitting numbers for all states. You are right Maddog10,It is not about personal recognition. It is about seeing who is more consistent when they post for just a few states or a single state. That is the goal here. But it is hard to cypher with the other stats in the way. I was not trying to imply that all all state poster pull their numbers out of a hat and if it came across that way I apologize. i like the idea but the majority of people do not cover all states concerned. most cover only the states they feel they do good in. besides if you wanted you could post only in whatever state you wanted to already.. i don't know about other people who post all states , but i for one do not pull my numbers out of a hat! i take pride in posting my numbers, after my homework is done for __all states. i'm not looking for any recognition as far as being a top predictor, i'm just trying to help oth... Bryan, I don't even look at the predictions that are for all states anymore. Neither do I look at predictions that are longer than 10 predictions......Why any person can pick 25-50 numbers out of a hat and win somewhere in all states....The predictions for all states, they do me no good unless I play them all on the quarter site which gets very expensive.The key word is option ........some people like the all states prediction but in my opinon there should be an option for people like me. 100% I think you ask for this before and it was turned down, I do not know why. It is a great idea. If everyone selected numbers as if they were going to put money on them, we would see a lot less numbers but I think a lot more thought would go into the ones we do see.glez

If they want to cut and paste to cover an all states bet and make it look like it's not more power to them. Wouldn't it be easier just to go over the real data. But I think in the long run you will be able to see who's who and in what state especially if you don't include the all states posters. The default could be as it is for all to see, but I would like to see an optional stat that doesn't include the all stater.Thanks for the input so far. Would love to see more. I think it is an excellent idea, if it can be done. I will admit that for tomorrow I did an all states and I may do it again for the entire week next week. Why? Because I have spent a lot of time collecting data on the top numbers that hit in Pick 3 in all states and Pick 4 in all states. I'm using that data to post at least until I see how it does. If someone is just using quick picks and doing 50 of them for all states, they will have winners, of course, but their stats will show how well... [ More ]

I would like to see and option added to see who the top predictors are that do not post all states predictions. Just curious to see if there are any others that feel the same way. I feel people that post state specific are more likely to do their homework for the states they post for and I would like to see who is best at posting for specific states.
