I would only play if the odds were 1:1. What I mean by that is every ticket would have to be a winner. However 1:2.5 you win all your money back.

Yeah that's true. I don't have plans on playing in any of the states that restrict the games above the age 18 in the next several years. I'm surprised TN didn't make it 30. They want to take Sunday Games away from us and that's a lot of CRAP. (It's not going to happen though).

Seriously how could you have a scratch off game for 100 bucks and odds of winning one out of every 1.2, and then have the top prize 50 million dollars? People have no problem putting down a dollar for a huge dream. People arent going to put 100 bucks down for a 10 million to one odds to win 50 million or 100 million. This idea is a pipe dream. Now a 100 dollar ticket with a million dollar top prize is a great idea. Sell 100k tickets for 100 bucks a pop. That is a ten million dollar fund. 75

I would look at playing a $100.00 scratch off like that of playing the $100.00 slot machines (which I don't play). If you can afford to take that chance then take it. If you can't then leave it alone.litebets

What about the 20% of tickets that don't pay you at least the $100? Would they pay $50? Nothing?And the 80% that pay at least your $100...most of them would have to pay just the $100, even then doesn't seem profitable for the lottery.

it would all depend on a few things.1. the value of a dollar. if inflation takes its toll, and a pop would cost $50-100, then i'd buy it.2. the game style. i wouldn't want to play a game that i didn't like the style of.3. the color of the ticket. somehow this has an effect on me.4. the name of the ticket. once again, somehow this has an effect on me.5. the top prize. i would not want a $100 ticket with a top prize of less than $50million-100 million.
