A very sad day indeed..... I'm here at the radio station and we have been told to talk about his passing every 15 minutes and it makes my heart just ach..... I feel like every time something sad happenes I'm behind the mic and I don't like giving out sad news

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - color=#0000ffPope John Paul II died on Saturday, the color=#0000ffVatican announced. The 84-year-old Pontiff, who had headed the Roman Catholic Church for 26 years, died at 9:37 p.m. (2:37 p.m. EST), a statement said.
