I love the basic fact that just because a person has played the lottery for a long time and hasn't won a jackpot, it certainly doesn't mean they won't win one in the future. Not all big jackpot recipients are lottery newbies who just got lucky. I like reading news releases about those people who played for years (like one jackpot winner's example playing for over 17 years) and then when they least expected it ...hit a jackpot, sometimes playing the same old numbers; sometimes not. Whether I think I will or won't win a million makes no difference! Many million dollar lottery winners say they never thought they would actually win, while many full time lottery losers insist they're going to hit the big one. Someone on here once said that planning on winning the lottery is like planning on living to be 10,000 years old! I still buy tickets, though, because like the New York Lottery used to say, Hey, you never know
