Lottaloot, You are welcomed to ask me anything anytime. If I know the answer, I would be glad to share it with you. If not, I will advise accordingly. And it doesn't hurt to do open forum either cause, thanks to Sandy, she noticed I had the <operator> backwards. ah....I see what I did wrong...I got the direction of the arrow wrong...my bad...sorry Sandy, you are correct, the > means greater then and < means less then and I had it backwards.

Sandy,I think the wording of my formula looks to see if the value referenced is less then 5, not equal to, but less then. Anything less then 5 will be considered Low. Your formula will look to see if the value is less then 4, putting 4 into the High category.Sir Metro

=IF(A1>4, H , L ) goes under each cell.....D1,E1,F1, then you need to do it all over again for E1 with the formula stating B1 (instead of the A1).....then go to F1 and insert the above formula substituting the C1 for the A1 in the E1 cell. formula gets inserted here:A1, B1, C1 D1 E1 F1 8 6 0The formula I have treats a zero as a low number.....I believe Sir Metro's formula above treats the zero as a high number.............just a matter of how you int... I think such a formula would go as such:Cell A1, B1 C1 has numbers 456 respectively, the formula for position 1 would be=if(A1>5, L , H ) 'or you could have the world Low/High spelled out, your choice.=if(B1>5, L , H )=if(C1>5, L , H )Keep in mind this info would need to exist within a group of cells by itself so you could track it easier.Sir Metro

Does anyone have a formula that would label numbers 0 thru 4 as low 5 thru 9 as high?Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
