brianjoe, maybe the word box is confusing, depending on what state you are in. In Texas, our playslips and tickets refer to it as ANY, not Box. That took me a while to get use to everyone here calling it a BOX hit, etc.Anyway, there are usually two ways to hit: box and straight. Straight pays the best and you have to have the numbers exactly like they were drawn. 695 is a 6 way box hit not a 3 way box hit. a 3 way box hit is a number that has pairs like 331

Brianjoe,I have no idea what that statement means, but if you were going to play the number everyway it could possibly come in you should have played them all straight. A Box hit means that you have all the numbers but not in exact order. I think that statement might refer to double numbers, which means that you would get more money for double numbers i.e., If the number were 226 you would get more money for a box hit than if the number were 216.
