I think if the Ohio bingo game flops, the new and improved SuperLottoPlus will be brought back. It will start out with a jackpot of $1M instead of $4M as it does now. Selling that as new and improved now would be a hard sell, but after a year of the $2 bingo ticket that only allows you to pick one of 12 possible combinations, it will sound new and improved.RJOh

If OH flops the bingo game in 6 to 12 months, I hope that they join with MI in the MI-OH lotto game. I would predict 6/54 if MI and OH both play classic lotto. MI will have company for Wednesday and Saturday.

So Ohio is going ahead with its bingo-style proposal. If it and the new Michigan Classic Lotto 47 don't take off, I would like to see a MI-OH jackpot game.

I think OH should join MI in the classic lotto games. If one state is by themselves, sales will be decling.

I would have liked to see the MI-OH game get off the ground; single-state classic lotto games are a slowly dying breed.

It wasn't making enough money for them. People were buying tickets but it was taking forever to reach the $5 million mark. I mean when it was up to the $5 million jackpot they were selling tickets like hot cakes. But this Classic Lotto 47 isn't any better. It seems like people won't buy a lot of tickets at all now without there being a rolldown.Brad

Ohio and Michigan already share the MegaMillions game. If Ohio was interested in attracting more lottery players, it would do a better job of advertising to none players especially when the MM jackpot is $100M+. People like myself that follow the games already play as much as their budget will allow, if Ohio wants to make more lottery money it needs to attract new players. Actually the free play is a promotional prize with odds of 1 in 57 (match 3 of 6, no bonus). The 1 in 451 odds represent the odds of winning a money prize. I will be glad if it's replaced with an improved $1 game. If it's $2, it's not much of a gain, it might even be a loss if the game isn't special enough (I expect a lot if I have to pay $2 for 1 measly line).

Well lets hope Ohio gets rid of the super lotto plus game with odds of 1 to 451 just for a free play. I would like to see a bi-state game but not one at $2 per play. I guess time will tell.
