Take Todd&#x27;s advice and go with Visual Basic... it is very easy to learn and to quickly whip up programs to test ideas.I actually prefer VB to VBA for rapid prototyping. Get yourself one of the sams.net  VB in 21 days  books as a primer, much easier than learning C++.
