I was involved with a group of about 10 people who pooled their mystical resources to pick numbers for the Canadian Keno game. This experiment went on for about 2 months, with lackluster results. It appeared that the individual players did better on their own than they did in the pool. I went back to working solo on the California SuperLOTTO. i haven't tried a mass group but i have tried doing it with 5 people. We all picked our fovorite numbers. With our projected numbers wheeled them and won 7 bucks.

if this did work it would only be effecient for drawings that don't split the jackpot among the winners. for instance a powerball drawing with 500 jackpot winners wouldnt be worth much...unless that jackpot is massive.
