I would have to disagree with that. Why on earth would I give $50 million to a city like Detroit to help rebuild it? When, in fact, it is supposed to be the city's problem and not mine? If the city doesn't care to help rebuild Detroit, why should I? If I did give $50 millions or more for my winnings, that would probably only be half of what the city needs. I think if someone hit jackpot. Maybe they should help rebuild Detroit but wait till after super bowl 40 in Detroit. If you give said 50 millions of what you won if you hit jackpot. There other way to get the money back. From stocks, buying land...ect. If someone hit jackpot. They should maybe give money to fix the road. There a few dirt road that maybe should be fix.
