That's why I like the Massachusetts lottery, there's something for everybody. Cash, annuity, big pick-6, little pick-6, pick-5, pick 1-4, Mega Millions, Keno. Variety, it's something more lotteries should look into.

Lotto South with a bigger matrix, PowerBall with a bigger matrix and now the Blue Game all in the MUSL states would be targeting the same players and that doesn't make any sense. Most states prefer to have several games with different odds and prize levels to attract different players.RJOh

OhioSuperLottoPlus is $7 millions for Saturday, May 21 and it's a 649 game. A 649 game is good for one large state or several small states maximum, the matrix would need to change if more players were included to generate large enough jackpots to attract players.RJOh

I doubly agree. Lotto South's purpose is not to be big, but to be a traditional Lotto game. Not too hard, not too easy. They got a good thing going, and they don't need any more states and numbers. Just a good 'ol 6/49.

LotteryPlayer pretty much said it best. People play Lotto South because of the odds of winning. I think people would play, but you would have less people playing if the odds of winning were to be less.

I think that would be a bad idea. Lotto South is currently in three states: Georgia, Kentucky and Virginia. $18 million for Wednesday, April 20.LS will be four years old in September, yet has not expanded its three-state base or lengthened its jackpot odds from 1:14 million. We need more states to join so LS can be the nation's third biggest lottery jackpot game (after MM and PB).
