Compulsive gambling is most problematic when you spend a lot of money on it. And compared to slots, racing, casino games, and sports gambling, it's really pretty hard to lose a lot of money in one day on the lottery. Spending too much on the lottery can certainly be a problem, especially with Keno, but if you don't play Keno or instant games, you have to try in order to spend more than $1000/year on the lottery, which is what you'll spend if you hit a bar a couple of times a week, or if you smok...
