Yes Michigan, under-21ers can possess tickets and such in AZ, LA, and IA. But the MI proposition prohibits that too.

I play games in FL GA TN and sometimes KY. I've never even been carded before and I'm only 18. Some people ask me if I bought them while I was underage... One time I did. I thought I could get away with it and what do you know.. I did lol. The rest of the time I just had my 18+ friends or my grandmother buy them for me. If teens who are under 18 want to play they can. Not hard at all.

I got info on the bill. It's been reffered to a committee for further study, and I doubt we'll hear of it anymore. It required people not only to be 21 to buy tickets, but to merely be in possession of lottery paraphenilia. Whoever came up with this law is very bad person.

I was against the 21 drinking age, but now I don't see it lowered to 18 again anywhere in the US.

I've mentioned this in the past how much raising the age to play the lottery upsets me. Maybe it's a seperate sweepstakes law in MI, or they have a plan (hopefully shelved) to raise the age there. In any case I hope I don't have to see any more states doing this. Along with computerized drawings, it is the axis of lottery evil.

According to the MUSL website (according to the rules of the giveaway in its survey), Michigan has joined Arizona, Iowa, and Louisiana in requiring lottery players to be 21. The MI Lottery website, at least on its front page, does not have a minimum age disclaimer.What is the minimum age in Michigan
