I agree as to not caring which state wins as long as it is me...or someone who will be a good steward with such a blessing and not blow the money on debauchery.

i say its pretty much equal and that anyone from any state could win at any given time.even idaho has had TWO powerball winners in the past couple months

I don't get the focus on which state wins. I could really care less where the winners came from unless I'm one of them. It's not like rooting for a sports team to win. It would be like betting on a horse since if the horse wins then you win.

Nobody from Illinois (where I play MM when it's bigger than Powerball) has won a Mega Millions jackpot since September 27, 2002.

GA has 3 major Interstate Highways which intersect in Atlanta, I-85, I-75, I-20 so anyone traveling through could purchase a jackpot ticket. Also heard that Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport will be putting in kiosks to sell tickets. We thank everyone for our education dollars

Here is the breakdown of MM jackpot winners since 2003. As you can see GA has the second most MM jackpot winners. NJ, which has the second highest sales in MM, has only had three winners since 2003!!??!! No, Mega Millions is not rigged. If it were a computerized drawing there would always be lingering suspicion, but since it's a mechanical ball drawing, the likelihood is practically nil. Besides, the drawing is held in Atlanta, and if given the choice, I'm sure the Georgia lottery personnel who operate the lottery would not want to have the winners be from outside of Georgia, since the winner's home state brings home some nice tax revenue.

OK, but the key is only 2 winners . Majority of the winners are not in Georgia. Doesn't that make you wonder if it is rigged for those states further from Georgia to have winners all time or the majority of time

How come all or most of the winners are further away from georgia. I never heard of anyone from georgia winning the mega millions or any other jackpot games. If I am wrong, then I stand corrected. Can someone answer me this, IS IT RIGGED FOR PLAYERS FURTHER AWAY FROM GEORGIA TO WIN OR IS IT JUST PURE LUCK? I am anxious to hear any feed back.
