I suspect now that the PB jackpot is close to $200M, more office pools will be participating, more tickets will be sold and as a result a there will be an even bigger jump in sales. With thirty-one 5+0 hits during the last drawing, I'm surprised there was still a roll over, it gets more unlikely as the jackpot continues to increase.

They probably expect the same amount of sales, since the rollover was only $25 million. I remember last July, a Mega Millions drawing had all low numbers, except for the mega ball, and thirty-four tickets won $175,000 each when only four of those winners were statistically expected. The jackpot was also won by one ticket and it was at the starting level ($10 million).

Considering the numbers that were picked, I'm surprised there wasn't a jackpot winner. Thirty-one tickets won $100,000 (six had powerplay for $200,000); that's seventeen more winners at that level than statistically expected for its sales of $40,387,916 (source: lottoreport.com) 147 tickets won $5,000 (twenty-six had powerplay for $10,000); that's sixty-six more winners at that level than statistically expected
