In proportion to the size of their revenue stream, the cost savings is so insignificant that it doesn't make a difference. Also, the revenue lost through lack of player confidence is not being measured, and probably accounts for a lot.

I signed the petition. Balls are a lot better. Why would state lotteries change from Balls to RNG? To be honest before I joined Lottery post I thought all the drawings were ball drawings. Now the more I understand it the more I hate it.

we all need to join together and get this petition signed, you never know one of these days it could lead to a ban on all computerized drawings forcing all states to use the ball drawings so everyone can get a fair drawing.....

Let's see here. Balls bounce around fancy free in a little chamber, or get spun and scooped around, all of them looking for tube or a chute. And if one of your balls, your very own balls, come up, you are that much closer to becoming a millionaire, or a hundredaire depending on the game. A computer on the other hand, does nothing but a sit there and display a not-so-arbitrary number, that's it. Nothing more. So chalk that up on another reason balls are better.
