I personally think the odds are high enough into the stratosphere, and there&#x27;s no need to engage in some kind of competition to see which lottery game can generate the most bloated jackpot.  Besides, with California on board, combined with Powerball&#x27;s jackpot increase-limiting cap, Mega Millions will not be caught.  I like Powerball right where it is.</p>]]></description>

The last time the Powerball jackpot was this big was on October 9, 2004, when 33 co-workers from Delaware won it.  If nobody wins the Powerball jackpot on Saturday, the jackpot will be the highest it&#x27;s been since Christmas Day 2002, the date of the record jackpot win by a single ticket.</p>]]></description>
