All the control buttons on the editors display are there now. And the apperance is normal.Last week i had some problems pasting stuff into a thread. It would appear as one size font and when it posted it changed size. ....was smaller

BTW, the blinking and weird display problems are caused by different people's browser settings. In the default IE setup, it worked great, and I noticed a big speed improvement. But as people change their PC cache settings, a bug in IE causes the images to keep reloading.

Sadly, I guess I will admit defeat on trying to speed up the IE toolbar loading. The silver lining is that Firefox users get the benefits of a much faster toolbar loading time. Maybe IE version 7 will improve matters, whenever it comes out.Things should be back to normal now.

The icons blink as I type. I'm using IE6 and XP. A little while ago I posted a reply to a post by Rick G and later I noticed (while I was on the home page) that he was the last poster for that thread. I thought he had answered my post, but when I looked, my post was missing

Last night all the functions of the editor it's icons etc. were available. Just now i have only got about half the icons on the toolbar showing. The rest about 30 of then are hidden they show up momentairly when i pass my cursor over them. But dissapear when i move the cursor.I cleared the cache and still same thing. 30 toolbar functions are hidden. The functions seem to work ok. It just that the little pictures of the icons are blank unless i place my curson on them. When i place my cursor say... [ More ]

Can you tell me what browser (and version number) you are using? For example, Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6, or Firefox version 1, etc. Also, try clearing your browser cache to make sure you're picking up the latest improvements.

Todd everything is gone from the post reply section i can no longer pick colors or anything it is blank. The only thing i have left on it is default and font size ??? I do also have the emoticons but everything else is gone.

One of the things that has to happen to avoid any problems is to let the editor fully load before using. When using dialup it takes a lot longer than it used to, and I assume it's the larger code segments Todd has instituted to make the editor more useful. Just keep an eye on the lower left corner of the screen - you'll see x items remaining , and permit it to completely load before attempting to edit.

That's normal, no problems there. Your browser is trying to display content as it gets downloaded, and the left side downloads first.How's your editor toolbar

I have noticed that the left side of the home page loads first, then portions of the right side before the entire page is displayed

Any changes I made wouldn't cause any blurriness. That just means you need to get a new monitor! (Get a flat panel if you ever do buy a new one - they're great.)I'm looking for problems like flickering graphics, constant reloading of graphics (while you're on the page), etc.

I am experimenting with something that I hope will eventually make the editor button graphics load a little faster.Libra Dave wrote to me earlier to let me know that my first experiment was making his buttons freak out whenever he typed something.I fixed that, and now made another change. Is everyone's toolbar buttons OK on their editor?Thanks for your help.
