I voted once a month. However, it's more like every six to eight weeks. Living in lotteryless Alabama keeps me fom buying tickets more often than that. As I've mentioned previously in the forum, I'm a little more than an hour and a half's drive from the TN and GA state lines (and about 4 hours from Florida) and I just can't afford to waste 3-1/2 to 4 hours or more driving every weekend just to get lottery tickets. i live in a small town where if a person were to win, everyone in the area would know about it.so i go to a place twenty miles away to purchase tickets and i can't always get there for each drawso buying for a month at a time assures a ticket for each drawsometimes when i am in that community i may purchase a ticket for that evenings draw

I buy my tickets on the day of the draw, every powerball draw. That's twice a week, which wasn't an option on the poll. So I put myself into the three times a week spot.Jack

I take the lottery in spurts. I may go 6 months or more and not buy a ticket at all and then I may go through a spurt where I am playing daily. I like the smaller games better than the larger ones. Cash 3, Cash 4 and Fantasy Five. I also buy scratch offs sporatically (sp?) as well. -Bonnie

I play Louisiana Lotto on Wednesday and Saturday. I'm also in a Powerball partnership with a coworker. We each put up $2 on payday and buy a ticket for 4 draws.I also play Powerball on my own when the jackpot gets above $100 million and if there's a pool at work, I get in that too. As for scratch offs, I only play them occasionally. Anywhere from 0 to 4 times weekly.Sometimes I play every draw, thinking it may be fate landing me a BIG hit soon.Sometimes I say f_ck fate, and play only certain draws, thinking I need to concentrate more on number selection/gut instinct.
