Oh don't worry, neither would I. But like I said this is just for fun. Actually my hubby and I hope to move to Alaska eventually and they don't have a lottery at all. I suppose I could hop the ferry every once in a while and play in Washington state. But I'm sure that it would be rare. Also, I picked NJ as my second pick to GA but quite honestly I don't think I could see myself living there. It is way too crowded and too fast paced. -Bonnie

Hmmm....I hadn't though about winning vs playing. I guess I am talking about playing. I like the playing the GA games. It may be that the GA games are what I am used to and if I moved somewhere else I might like their games just as well once I got used to them. -Bonnie

Assuming that you win or just to play the games? If it's to win then I'd stay put being a Megamillions tax free state then after winning I'd have to think about it. Otherwise I'd move for a much better job not the lottery.

That is the one thing that has always irritated me about GA's Fantasy 5. I have gotten 4/5 a few times and the most I have gotten for it is $112. That is kind of icky to me. NJ also has those wheel bets for cash 3 which I think might be interesting to try. However the prize payouts are not as good as GA for straits. If I were going to move to another state just for the lottery, it would probably be NJ. But NJ is also a Mega Millions state. I think I'll stick with GA. -Bonnie

This is just for fun. Imagine that you were going to move to another state and the only consideration would be that state's lottery? What state would you move to or would you stay where you are? Me personally, I would stay right here in GA. Reasons: 2 Cash 3 drawings, 2 Cash 4 drawings, pick 5/39 game with rolling jackpot, regular no frills pick 6/49 game. And all the games are drawn with balls, not a computer. The only thing I don't like about GA's lottery is Mega Millions. I like Powerball bet... [ More ]
