Yeah, he waited too long so he got stuck with annuity by default. Fortunately, that should change when Powerball increases its matrix, as they'll make the annuity get paid in graduated installments, so the first payment is a lot less than the last. That should change a lot of players' minds about picking annuity over cash.

A 18 year old won over 100 million playing the Big Game a few years back. That would be nice to never have to work again at 18.
