I'm with you, Jack. I only have one grocery store card and it's in my brother's name, not mine. Could explain why he keeps getting coupons for Pampers and a recent American Baby subscription. I am so paranoid that I won't even get a cell phone. Did you know that cell phones have a GPS system that can be used to track where you are? Sorry but it ain't nobody's business but mine. -Bonnie

The key word here is OPTION, meaning it doesn't make a difference whether the customer has or uses the card or not. The supermarkets and drugstores which have these cards really annoy me. Although some of these stores actually reward customers with points for purchases, they also punish customers who don't use them in the form of inflated prices for non-card holders. To me, this does not give the OPTION of having or not having the card to the customer. I try not to shop in these stores when I... [ More ]

I'd definately be into that. It would also be great seeing it would count as proof of age, which I need cause I still don't have a drivers license, and a passport is too expensive, and I fear the might not accept a copy of my birth certificate.

i like it in one respect but the only thing i wouldn't like would be them doing some kind of indiana thing where they cross reference all the bets and make the results something nobody bet on.other than that if they didn't try to use it to their advantage and were fair about it then i would be the first in line to get one.i guess i might agree with rip on the fact that i wouldn't want them keeping up with what i bet.

Virginia has Lottery subscriptions by mail for the bigger games Lotto South and Mega Millions I think. I used to subscribe for the year on Lotto South when I traveled alot . It cost me $104 bucks for the year (2 draws a week) . it was good because I never missed a draw . Did it about 5 years I think . Now I'm home alot and there isnt a need for it . Never did hit much but I still play the same set of numbers.

Whew. Here I am crosswise again. I suppose I'm just a sort of paranoid mentality. I don't like anyone keeping track of how much I play, how much I win (or lose). Casino operations have cards of that sort, use all manner of prizes, drawings and whatnot to get you to use them. I don't.I'm willing to go to the trouble of checking whether I've won on a lottery draw, without having some anonymous entity out there checking for me, keeping track of things.Terry Pratchett created some beings in some... [ More ]

Would you like the option of having a players registration card for your lottery? Some lotteries have them. If you forget to check your numbers, the lottery will send you your prize check. If you win a jackpot or large prize, they can contact you. You can also store you favorite numbers on the card which is very convenient. I am surprised more lotteries don't have them.
