in PA, they have parenthesis with numbers indicating how much you won. multiple sets of parenthesis are for multiple digits in the prize. for example, winning $2 would be 00000(2)0000, while winning $25 would be 000(2)000(5)000.

Yeah I hate it when I'm scratching a game and know I've won a ticket before I scratch off the number.

In Illinois we don't have letter codes on our tickets anymore. Which I am kinda of glad because to me it makes it more fun to play.

Those are just like TN's.$1-ticket-TIC,$3 thr,$5 fiv,$7 svn, $8 egt, $10 ten, $15 ftn, $20 twy, $50 fty, $100 hun, $500 fhn. As for higher amounts they don't have codes I don't think because they have to be taken to a lottery office here in TN.

Does anyone have a list of what the letter codes on the NY Lottery scratch offs all stand for? I know that F, O, R is four and T, W, O is two, but I'm wondering what the codes are for the higher prizes. Any help would be great! Thanks
