When I dream about the lottery and winning. I don't think I ever think about how much stuff I could have I dream about that 80 acre farm. and growing my own food. Working for a purpose not for stuff. I always think wouldn't it be cool just to go out and buy a hard working person who never seems to get a leg up a home and gift wrap for christmas morning, with a kind note saying its yours, unsigned.

I've had a re occurring dream i was signing the paperwork at lottery headquarters and they handed me the big check. Can hardly wait for the real thing to happen. The other night i dreamt about the numbers i didn't get up and write them down dismissed the dream as a hoax i did however remember 2 of the numbers when i finally woke up 38-47. When they drew the numbers's for mega Friday night i realized that i should have wrote all those numbers down i think i had 4 of them from the dream. 05-38-47... [ More ]

The explanation of what happened is more for the Mystical Forum but will give you the short of it.You'd held those numbers in your mind by playing them, expecting them to hit. You gave up on the numbers, dismissed them from your mind and let them go completely. Lucky Fox .... I read somewhere that the laughing Buddha was a real person who traveled throughout China bringing joy to all those he came in contact with, especially children. He was highly revered by all and designated the status of a deified worthy (saint in the western translation). I'm afraid that there are a lot of non-winning disappointed people out there who are trying to win The Big One . It's fun for me to try to intuit the numbers, and I get so excited when I come so close sometimes picking them! It's such a cool game. Studying the numbers is fun, winning a jackpot would be nice. But reading some of the posts on this thread I began a rather long time ago leads me to backtrack a bit in my thinking.Life is a precious commodity. Considering the approximate odds of being hit by lightning is 1 in 7 million, no, I don't think I'll win. If I had to be hit by lightning first then I probably won't be able to use the money considering my nerves would be literally fried.The odds of winning the pick-4 is 1 in 10,000. I surely agree with you that the multiplier is a great option. Seems to me they'd sell more multipliers, however, if they'd just make it a standard 5 instead of the current method of occasionally throwing in a deuce just to make it appear they're actually doing some kind of draw on it.A constant multiplier of 5 would probably get a lot of people who don't buy it to begin using it.As it stands now, when I buy tickets the clerk who says, You don't want the Power Play, do you? to the people ahea... 1 ticket is true. I won $5,000 on powerball just playing 2 tickets. All I play is 2 tickets but I put the Powerplay on them. One reason is the smaller pots are easier to win so I might as well multiply them and usually 5 comes out as the multiplier the most. If the jackpot goes over 100 mil then I might play 5 tickets. I usually go up on ticket purchases with every 100 mil.

When I stand in line to buy my tickets I tell the people behind me not to bother buying a ticket.I tell them I have already picked the winning numbers. So you might as well give me your money right now. So after I buy the ticket they all pool their money and give me $1,000.00 dollars for the winning ticket.Made 5 grand at 5 different locations that night.

Nothing wrong with dreaming, no harm in it. Never lose sight of who you are then you can be who you want to be regardless if you never win. I do heavy thinking about winning. I wouldn't personally play/invest my money if I didn't think I could win. Why couldn't it be me is my philosophy! This year, I have observed the large jackpots won by a $7 an hour clerk and an investment broker. I read the news in April and saw that 6 Cinn. Red Baseball Players pooled their money in the MM. I've spent some time asking people in line buying lottery tickets whether they believed they'd win. Most seemed fairly confident they will someday. But some are buying tickets, while saying outright they don't believe they'll win.About a third of them mutter the clich'e you see on LP a lot: Can't win if you don't buy a ticket. Might be interesting to know how LP users see the possibility of a jackpot win in their futures.Jack
