According to a lottery spokesperson, the problem was financial records not balancing perfectly, not ticket data. Basically, all of the sales dollar amounts from all the states need to balance perfectly before the drawing takes place. Apparently, someone from one of the states entered a number in the financial system incorrectly.

i think the reason for delayed drawings lately(technical difficultys),is because all of the pb computers have their own disks,and give out certain quickpicks each computer differently,and the drawing place doesn't know what winning numbers to put out until all numbers are into drawing headquarters,make sense
