I think it is just the opposite in California. When I have won 4 of 5 and it paid over $400 the jackpot was high and vice versa. It not only depends on how many winners, but also how many people bet!! I have had low payouts and the number of winners was less than the high payouts. The only explanation is that there is less money in the pool. When there is a big jackpot, more people play and the pools are bigger.

I've seen TN's lotto 5 4/5 be as high as $350. Maybe even more. It all depends on how many players win. Since the jackpot is so high there are going to be more winners. If you play when the jackpot is low that's when you hit a good 4/5 prize.

TN paid $193 for 4 of 5. I like California better!!Well, just checked...CA paid $231 for 4 of 5 last night. Sometimes it is low like that, but most of the time you can expect $400 for 4 of 5 in California.

Thank you, litebets. The payouts are set my Todd. I don't know about TN, but California will play about $400 for a 4 of 5 for the Fantasy 5. And, of course, it depends on where you are playing the Pick 3 and Pick 4 what the payout will be there. Where I play it is $9,000 for a $1 ticket.
