Texas Pretest ?Question

We (Texas) get 4 (sometimes 5, if 1 number comes out too many times) before each draw. Do other states have THAT many? That equals to at least 60 drawings a week and rotation of, currently, 8 ball sets. A year ago, they were rotating 17 ball sets. geez! The players have tried to contact their Representatives/Senators in protest to Lotto, to NO avail. Lotto has been changed about 3 times (maybe more...lost count), during the years, and sales have fallen drastically. But, THEY know best........ [ More ]

Most if not all ball drawings in all states have both pre and post drawing tests to assure randomness or lack of bias in ballsets which is an absolute necessity. Texas is simply one state which openly publicizes it as a matter of full public disclosure.If you have bias in ballsets then it is grounds for alleging that draws are rigged.

I have complained about the pretest until I'm blue . I try to check on the pre test dtaw before each draw. Sometimes they relate to the actual draws sometimes not . I agree with MS Pennie, usually one of our prediction come out in the pre test. So if I were goig to play a set strong it is an advantage to know that it would be a waste of money. TX players should get together and raise a stink about that.. and then refuse to buy any Cash 3 tickets.. I know it would be hard to cover the state of TX.. but it has to start somewhere.. I will not be putting another 25 cents on TX again..

HeHeHe Molly, you nailed it on the head, they are at the end of the balls and I still don't trust them. The reason they introduced so many pretests prior to the final draw is to mess up the people who use systems to track the numbers. You only have 30 min to an hour to run the pretest along with the actual drawings and get to the store in time if you think you have the winning combinations. I've tried keeping a record for the past couple of years, especially when new balls were introduced. I was interested in which ball sets they put together for the draw, ie how many times they used them, and which numbers each ball set picked the most. Got tiring after a while and I'd forget about it. Sometimes the predraws were related to the final, sometimes not. Just like: sometimes systems work and sometimes not.........same-old, same-o. It might be worth doing a study on pretest for Tx and see how it relates to the final draw. I am leaving for vacation, but I might start keeping records when I get back next week just to see. Night draw was 882, I played that number sat midday and night combo, straight and xany

If you read Pennie response to the quote you just made you will see they post the pretest at 8:00pm they don't draw until after 10:00pm...

I guess that I can't really complain much about pretests seeing as how I have never tried to find out anything about them and have never looked for them, nor do I know how to see the pretest results, I am sure that if I wanted to I could find and see them, but have never bothered with them at all, maybe I should had, anyhow whatever problems they might present, maybe can be bypassed by completely ignoring them as I have always done and basing your system on only the published winning draws, migh... Thanks Pennie,Sounds like you all have two hours to look the pretest over before the real drawing. That would be an idea situation if the test have to be done at all. Have you ever tried working with just the 4 pretest drawings? What about keeping a game file with all the numbers including pretest? Has that ever produced anything? Yes Bryan we do get to see pretest before the drawing. For the midday the post around 11am and the night draw is around 8pm. Most of the time two or more out of the four just happen to be numbers we have predicted

Howdy All,I always thought you guys were the lucky ones. They post your pretest. I believe most states do a pretest. I know MO does but we don't have the advantage of getting to see or find out what the pretest numbers are before the drawing.Do they post the pretest drawings before the actual drawings or do they wait and post them all at the same time? I believe the pretest definately throw the game off. If there was no pretest one of those four pretest numbers would have been the winning number for the game. Looking back you will see most of us have predicted one of the numbers that came in the pretest for game number. Maybe after the big shake-up things will be better.

First: I don't knowSecond: They (TLC) say to make sure the balls, etc are working ok and randomly. In the beginning there was no pretest, then TLC decided to do us the honors and start them. Not sure what year they started, it is on the TLC website.Third: Don't know. I'm sure that's why they do them, to throw everyone off track.
