I wonder if the tax law regarding the lottery will ever change here in the US. By taxing jackpot winners, its bascially a sort of double taxation. Ofcourse the tax revenue is nice for the government but how can European countries afford to forgo that tax income from lottery winners and still raise enough money for government services? If you live in the U.S., your winnings from any lottery anywhere in the world is subject to state and federal taxes and some cities add city taxes.RJOh

Wouldn't work unless powerball switches to a cash prize also. Powerball and Euromillions would both have to change their matrix and many other things. The rules alone would be a challenge.

I think Mega Millions should merge because the US Virgin Islands has Powerball.

It's now $100,000,000. Intrestingly enough, Euro Millions is at US$97 mil, and while that's in cash, it's also a 2 euro ticket, or about US$2.75. Maybe they should merge? If we get MUSLs Global Game they might have to.
