Actually, I think that gambling is a sin when it consumes you. The Bible says that the LOVE of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Money in and of itself is not the problem. luck and chance play no part in my life. they went out the door the minute God walked thru it. in my life, i am either 'meant to', or i am not. and the things that i know that i am 'meant to', i will always adjust to. that is fate/destiny. the things that i don't know whether i am meant to or not, i don't bother expending effort towards. i know from personal experience that a person can pre-know, and then adjust accordingly .......effectively eliminating chance . destiny / fate DE... I do not believe in fate in the Greek sense or in luck. If I win, it is God's will. If I do not, it is God's will. I surrender my life to Him in order to be an instrument for His glory. Should He bless me with the money, I also know He will bless me with the wisdom to use it for the purposes He has in mind. I believe in fate or destiny. I also believe that we have the ability to change, alter or choose our fate or destiny to some extent. It was not luck that I chose 4 of 5 winning numbers on my birthday and made the conscience effort to purchase the winning ticket. I personally do not believe in destiny. Every action, every decision u make has consequences. And that consequences is your destiny. If you decide to sit home and do nothing is that your destiny or your decision? And luck is just being at the right place at the right time. Whether its a bad one or good one. We as human beings tend to believe in above normal things, because it gives us a relief and peace. But in reality there are two things that really real. Nature and science. Common sense.
