Yeah, I would post a modified copy after cashing it in. Also, I would provide a cash gift to Lottery Post. I am working on a formula based upon the total number of registered members as of the winning date. I wouldn't care if you knew my name after winning. I would continue to be supportive of Lottery Post it's members after winning. And most important of all, I would try to win again

it might be possible the person who claimed to have won the 25 mill may have re-signed in as another entity just to make that post and try to remain anonymousi do not think i would chance it

I voted for yes because you need to have a photo copy of the front and back of your ticket and the copy of the claim form. The main copy of winning ticket and claim form is sent to CA SLP headquarters or retaliers and it has to be postmarked.

It really doesn't matter if you post it or not. Your name is going to be released...they always find out and if you post a copy there might be some wack jobs that will try to use it to claim the prize...but remember you need to have a REAL ticket to claim a prize.Brad

I will use a trust myself to claim my jackpot when I win. However, not all states will allow you to claim it in trust. Please keep in mind a few factors. Powerball and Megamillions are played in different states. Not all states will respect and allow you to remain anonymous. If a person can claim it in a trust I suggest that they go that route. Yes, it could be claimed in the trust. But the trustees name would appear in the story, unless u trust your lawyer who could claim it for you as a trustee. I hope I am getting this right. Read this story http://www.powerball.com/powerball/winners/2004/020404nh.shtm. Thomas J. Van Meer could have been the winner himself. We will never know.

Just black-out the number codes at the bottom of the ticket on the scanned image, and that eliminates any possibility of someone trying something underhanded.

Do not post the ticket until after it was redeemed otherwise you may assist someone in making a fraudulent copy of the ticket.Second, make sure to photocopy or scan the ticket before redeeming because the lottery prize office will keep the original ticket after redemption.Good luck,Jake

I would not post a copy/scan of the ticket. I would not want to give any crooks or unsavory people out there anything that they might be able to use to cause trouble.

I voted for Yes, I would want everyone to see it but only after I've come out to the public and claimed my prize or maybe the night before I'm going to claim it. Ofcourse I would not post the sensitive information and only the winnings numbres visible with the draw date.On second thought, I might not. I will make up my mind when I win.
