I wish everybody would stop knocking Jack. He lost a relative which might have been linked to his win. At least few have criticized his taking lump sum.

I hope CA keeps MM, CT keeps PB, and NC joins PB. I hope MM and/or PB hits 363 million [annuity] or more when one ticket finally wins their respective jackpot. However, if people win smaller jackpots of 100 million or less, records will be safe.

It might only make up for the introduction of N. Carolina. Unless CT leaves it would just be a new large pool of players added so I wouldn't hold my breath for a record.

I didn't read anywhere that they would pay out differently on a cash option. If it's under 50.5-51% than it's news to me. If I'm really wondering what the cash prize is I would just check on www.usamega.com.

I agree with this CASH Only. I don't care about the cash option, just the annuity value part. However, PB sales are lacking because of more jackpot winners of 100 million or less. Without CA playing MM, sales will suffer too.

As the odds get longer the jackpots will get higher. For Mega Millions when was the last time there was more than one winner in a single drawing.Brad
