The saddest part of this story was that he was killed by a family member. If I ever win I plan to help out alot of my family members, but I will also have some family members that I hope to only see when I'm at very crowded, very public places. Distant relatives are usually distant for a reason

People get killed over far less. You don't have to win a lottery to get killed over money you can work at a convenience store or just be a victim of a random crime. I for one want a large jackpot and judging from sale increases from large jackpots so do a great deal of other people. With crimes like these you just have to be carefull. Not much else you can do.

Why ? Isn't God's justice good enough ?Do you think that anybody at all can escape it ?Are hell and the lake of fire too good for them ?Good luck to all.I almost forgot ! As to the death penalty, We all get it, some sooner, others later. We are here on a very short Vacation .

What I will never, never, never understand is how they expect to use the money they WOULD have stole from behind prison bars? If if they stole one million dollars, what good does it do now. I will tell you what, I am proud of every hard working person. No matter if it's McDonalds, KFC, here or there. You earned it and you can sleep at night, maybe with less in the bank and not such a nice car but you have freedom and peace of mind. Worth more than stolen money any day of the week. My .02. It's likely his sister-in-law (one of the accused murderers) would have known about his wealth even if he had remain anonymous to the general public, after all he won in Illinois and moved to Florida. He couldn't avoid his greedy in-laws.

greedy, greedy, greedy..what good did it do to kill him? And they still didn't get any money.. Totally senseless act. They are in the right state..Florida uses their death penalty regularly..this is the reason why lottery winners should be able to remain anonymous regardless of how much money they win.
