This really shows how BAD things have gotten for the Texas Lottery. While it's wonderful to see all this incredible level of detail, the fact that they feel they have to show it at all tells me that they have been through a lot.

I still agree where Texas Lotto and Two Step Jackpots are going, but Texas Lotto may stop playing the bonus ball soon according to the news. Texas Lotto thinks that the bonus ball has flopped and may go back to a 6 number system like Washington.

The lottery by its very nature cannot advertise the truth. If they did, no one would play! The truth is that the state lotteries want to nickel-dime you to death. When you wheel or play multiple numbers the state is a greater risk of losing. They want you to use quick picks and megaply your bet.Careful and informed players are the lottery commission's worst nightmare. They want you to hand them your money, sit down and shut up. I bet there are a bunch of Lottery Director's mad about that information being put out. They might be forced into publishing the same type of information. What would the world come to if the Lottery was subject to the Open Meeting law concept?Some of it already is. I'm told by Writer-somebody-or-other (the LP member/poster who works for NM Lottery Authority) that all that sort of info is public information in NM. Might be so in a lot of other places, as well.Jack

I hope so too, Mike. New Mexico is just a piddling little State, and I'd like to see some Texas sized problems move spang out of Austin, West about 600 miles, and rear their heads in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico.36 million for a 93 million dollar jackpot payoff, as advertised on the doors of convenience stores and on the billboards....I'd seriously like to see some billboards naming NM Lottery Authority and Powerball officials what they are: a pack of lying frauds.Jack

The Texas lottery website now has copies of the actual documents showing how the Lotto Tx and Tx-Two-Step jackpots are calculated. These are the actual documents signed off on by the lottery director. Looks like they are trying to come clean and put this issue to rest...
