TN also started selling Scratch tickets much like GA. Then about a month later cash 3 came along. After 3 months we had powerball and 7 months came lotto 5.

GA began with scratch offs then went to Cash 3. Janet, yes, NJ started with a .50cent weekly ticket back on Dec 16, 1970. The NJ lottery didn't start scratch offs until 1975. NJ, was the third state to start a lottery, behind New Hampshire and NewYork respectively..

Did anyone's state lottery game start out with pick 3 numbers? I'm from NC and most people say that they will start out with scratch off tickets first and then bring the numbers later. Tenaj
