With the odds as they are now we have a chance to get more $200 m jackpots. I like when they get high just because of all the attention that is paid to them. I mean look at what happened when Jack Whitiker (sp) won that jackpot. He was on every morning show and everything. And when they get high a lot of people start winning the 2nd and 3rd tier prizes which aren't to shabby now. Let's look forward to a record run.FYI: Even though California joined NY still has the highest sales.Brad... [ More ]

I, for one, would like to see 10 or 15 hits that peak at $100M or less. Two things would happen. Ten to fifteen people would get rich, and the Lottery Directors would start whinning about the bonus impact. Be great to see the people win for a change.

Really no one knows. It's luck of the draw. It might be won on the next draw or it could make a record. Be optimistic when thinking about jackpot games guys. It can very well happen.

I am thinking that this run will go to the 205 million range and then get hit. At least I am hoping for a long run so maybe I will get to take a trip to vancouver for a record mega millions ticket. Will see if lady luck is going to give out a record or just another winner.

I agree with your jackpot estimates until draw #15. I think the jackpot estimate for draw #14 will be $210 million and will be re-estimated to $220 million. The estimated jackpot for draw #15 will be $300 million and will be re-estimated before the draw to around $315 million. The impact of California sales will be magnifiedwhen the jackpot reaches $200 million. Because California has never seen a $200+ million jackpot. Also, as time passes, more Californians are becoming aware of MM and that wil... [ More ]
