The only other 6/48 around is Hoosier Lotto. And per $1, that and OR Megabucks w/ Kicker pays about the same. The only difference is OR pays $4 for 3/6, and IN pays $3. But IN also gives out a free play for 2/6.

I couldn't see why it couldn't happen. It would have to be pari-mutuel though. A fixed payout system would be very risky because you never know when a fortune cookie could come up.

Since some scratch games pay 75% or better, theorically it's possible for a lotto game to have a 75% payback, although maybe it's not practical.

Bonus match 5 the exciting part you get three boards for two bucks if you play all the same numbers on 12 boards cost 8.00 bucks you could win 600,000 tax free bucks as each board is worth 50 grand. Not a bad pay day for anyone you might dial in the winning numbers in this fashion. In fact it's better than winning lotto at 1mill and taking cash 1/2 that and ending up paying taxes. I play 2 boards with the same numbers ever day i'll be happy to win but kick myself for not having played 12 boards... [ More ]

Which game has the highest payout in the nation? MA Cash WinFall and KY Tic Tac Cash both payout 60%, as do a number of digit games. Are there any games that have higher payouts? If Bonus Match 5 top prize in Maryland is really a tax-free prize, then the payout there would be 62%. The OR website claims that Megabucks pays out 75%. But the statutes say it pays 50%. So no real answer there.
