i wonder what the legislature sees that the voter's do not.my first thinking is they weren't high enough on the rewards list to vote in favoror they were not included in the all expenses paid junket my conspiracy theory paranoia is running away with me again

Why can't North Carolina get it through their heads that people will play lotteries regardless of whether NC gets one or not? I say if you can't beat them, join them! NC is just losing money to neighboring states by not having a lottery

The senate did not vote on the NC Lottery last night. They put it off until May. I think it was a good thing that they didn't vote because it took 20 years and sneaking it into the state budget to get it this far. We never would have gotten a lottery it it had lost the vote. At least they won't have to start over getting it approved in the house and the senate and all the other legislator that goes with it. Hopefully, enough Yes votes can come through by May.
