If this keeps up, then MM will eventually keep rolling over into maybe new records. If more people win small MM jackpots, records will never shatter again.

According all to the participating States websites 32% of their MegaMillions ticket sales goes to the jackpot, so an anemic roll pattern is produced by an anemic ticket sales pattern.RJOh

I think the recent events in New Orleans have people sidetracked from playing the lottery. Don't forget, one of the biggest Mega Millions states -- Texas -- is nearby, and the people there are feeling the effects.Also, the summertime is traditionally not the best sales period for lottery games. Maybe Todd will comment...Mega Millions certainly has an anemic roll pattern - well over $100 million and still only growing in $20 (approx.) million increments. Todd - you watch this pretty closely - waht do you think? DDB
