Hmmm.. I want to give you an answer but I'm not quite sure what you're asking. If you just want to convert numbers between different currencies, the best web site is www.xe.com. But I think you're asking something different than that - right

Thanks for the heads-up, Todd.I agree Euro looks good. And when the odds get into that range it's probably moot whether they're a few million this way or that, compared to another lottery. It's going to take a lightningstroke of luck, or some seriously good system to reduce the odds to win any of them. If a person has either of those Euro's probably the best store in town.Gracias,Jack

JS9,Let's just say we agree to disagree. I think your analysis is off, and doesn't make any good comparison between risk and reward. And the education argument has nothing to do with this at all. Since when does how the government use their money have ANYTHNIG to do with calculating how good a particular jackpot is?Your comparison has no concept of the prize structure, and 5 lines of MM is NOT 1 in 8. For the $5 ticket price, Euro Millions jackpot odds are about 1 in 50,000,000. If you buy 5 lines of Mega at a convenience store, it's 1 in 35,000,000. Same with the overall odds, for the price, Euro Millions is 1 in 24, 5 lines of Mega is 1 in 8. And the best part is that more of the price goes towards (most likely) a child's education. Most of that $5 for EM goes in to Prime Ticket Service's pocket. But the lower prize sure sounds good though.

From what I understand, Prime Ticket Service buys their tickets in the UK, so the money does not go to France.Also, for someone who studies lottery games so closely, I'm surprised by your odds comment. Mega Millions has the worst odds of any lottery game on the planet. And for the price, the payback from Euro Millions is MUCH better.The lowest prize you can win (and there are 14 ways to win) returns almost the entire cost of the order (over $18), whereas Mega Millions doesn't come close.I thin... Yeah, that's a big one. But it's expensive. And for you Bill O'Reilly fans out there, Euro Millions is administered by France.I'm sorry, but I'd rather be playing Mega Millions. For the price, the odds are actually better.
