Roll and roll and roll. I'm gonna get my dad to get tickets in NJ Tuesday. Unfortunately my success in NJ has been limited to a $5 Instant Match win, we're just in it in case a miracle happens. I think I'll have more success with Tuesday's Cash 5, I'll get my tickets after I see my shrink. And now that I have a photo ID, I can go anywhere to get them, not just the one store that takes my word for it.Oh, and keep in mind, the jackpot isn't actually $200 Million. Go to USA Mega's Jackpot Analysis... [ More ]

MMM $200 million, sounds like a very nice prize (especially when we all live paycheck to paycheck) to me! To have that much money would be the greatest rush anyone could ever ask for (besides taking care of family with some of it). Don't worry everyone I'll be holding the winning ticket tuesday! <<< that's whats gonna happen when I win and then it's time to >>> Good luck to everyone and keep dreaming the impossible dream, it just may come true

The official lottery jackpot for this drawing figure is predicting sales of around 50 million, which would give a probability of 77% for a rollover, as I posted elsewhere. However the last $200M + jackpot, back on April 22 of 2004, had sales of $77.6M, which at today's odds gives a rollover probability of 65%. In this case, with sales in the $70-80M range, the initially announced jackpot would probably rise to about $250M and may even bump up beyond that if lotto fever takes hold. The $295 millio... [ More ]

Well ticket sales increased by 13,000,000 from Tuesdays sales. (48 million) So people are getting into it. We should sell around 50 for Tuesday's drawing. If it rolls then Friday should be around 60-70 million sold. Look at NY sales. Jumped from 6 million to over 10 million in the last drawing. California is still low compared to others. NJ sold more than them and Michigan and Illinois are right behind them. What is up with that?Brad

$200M should generate enough interest that new office pools will start forming. If one wins there will be the usual whining from co-workers who were too poor or cheap to participate but think their greedy co-workers in the pool should share their good fortune with them, after all if only they had known they were going to win they would make an effort to get the money somehow. If the pool will accept a late payment, the payment can be taken from their share of the winnings.

I have a feeling this will be the first time it takes three drawings to break 300 not two. 200 then 240 then just under 300. Odds don't look good for that happing. Maybe Prob988 could figure out what the odds are now of breaking 300.
