I think that you possibly could be correct that it will go tonight, because i am holding the winning ticket and when those numbers are drawn i will be rocking the night away, with my corona and lime ready to go. Already have body guards in place to collect my winnings, tax advisor's and a whole staff of attorneys. Getting ready to rock the night away. If the sale 195M tickets it is greater than the odds. It is most likely someone will hit. I don't really mind 250M is enough for 1 person. Unless 33 workers from x factory wins.

As I see it, if it rolls one more time the jackpot will reach 400M. I'm expecting a HUGE jump if no one wins this Friday because it will possibly be a new record, so all the media outlets will be reporting it, causing all of the none players will play. All of the good people of Cali will come out in mass and people in non mega states will make runs to mega states to buy tickets. So a 400M jacktop is quite possible. 24 more hours and we all will know...

fx, NJ is a no tax state on lottery winnings and so is PA. The only thing you lose is what Uncle Sam takes off the top no matter what state you are from! Maryland has a tax on lottery winnings, one rate for In-State Residents (7.5%) and another for Non-Maryland Residents: 5%. Then if you do things right you can lower your tax bill on April 15 on the rest of the winnings! This is why you get a lawyer and a couple of financial advisor's before turning in the winning ticket.

fx,You would pay GA state tax on the winnings.It would be worth it for me to cross the Tappan Zee or George Washington and pick up my tickets in Jersey, so I could pay CT state tax and not NY state tax on my winnings! I bet NY would still want a cut since I had to drive through the state

I haven't seen a residency requirement on the NJ website. I know PA is also a Lottery Tax Free state, and when some one from NJ won the PB in a PA drawing, they didn't pay (state) taxes in either state. Of course Uncle got them on both sides. Initial hit of (minimum) 25% and then Income Tax on top of that.Wouldn't it be NICE to have to pay taxes on $100M

It is my humble and unbiased opinion that the Mega Million Lottery will eventually reach the $400 million+ mark sometime in the near future. Should I be fortunate enough to win that size of a jackpot there is just one thing I would like to say, not bad, I am financially elevated from upper level poverty to being a poor millionaire . Just wondering how big people here think MM can get. I'm hoping it can get really big. But being a pessimist I think it will get hit at the 250 level.
