The last thing we need is LS getting replaced by a lose for life online game. KY needs to stay in Lotto South, with the game getting a larger matrix.

Ohio is getting rid of its Super Lotto a 649 game and replacing it with a game which starts with a smaller jackpot amount. I think because multi-state games with $12M+ jackpots are available to the same players, fewer are choosing to play the 649 games. PowerBall and MegaMillions have set the standards for a multi-state game in the U.S. and Lotto South isn't there. In Canada where the 649 games are the top games available to most of its players, the format is doing fine.

Sorry Everyone.....got confused. Lotto South is only in 3 states I believe and not 6. Still, you would think three states could manage a $1 million roll. Maybe it is the gas shortage scare.Thanks,John - LA

Something strange is going on. Even when Georgia had Georgia Lotto, the jackpot rolled by at least $1 million each time the jackpot was not won. Now, with 5 additional states, they can't even manage a $1 million roll? Sounds like it's time for a change. Maybe more numbers or a bonus number feature.Thanks,John - LA

GA has been having problems with the availability of gas. They're shutting down the public schools on Monday and Tuesday to conserve fuel. The low jackpot rollover happened again on Saturday. The number of winners in this last game appears to imply that ticket sales were only in the neighborhood of 1.1 to 1.2 million.

Maybe LS players are tired of the low jackpot hits, and the small matrix. Even without a fourth state, LS needs more balls.

Hmmm. Is something going on? The payouts seem rather low, and the jackpot is only growing in $500,000 increments. Maybe they're just preparing for a drop in sales seeing the inevitable hike in gas prices that Rita will bring. As for the payouts, it might be due to the fact that 41 people matched 5 numbers. That's what happens when multiples of 5 come up. I guess that dispels the myth that people from the South don't know math.

WOW. For matching 5/6 you would win $458. I think it's usually around $1000 right

It only rolled 1/2 million. Tonight's JP was 2 million. Next Jackpot will be $2.5 million. That is a bit of a surprise. C'mon VA,KY,and GA. This is a great game. Don't neglect it! Sounds like LS needs TN and SC really bad IMO.
