Congratulations to the person in US Virgin Islands finally matching 5 numbers, but not the PB. On top of that, that ticket registered 1.6 million because that ticket played with Power Play and 650K was out of Match 5 Bonus Pool.

At least the extra $653,492 was from a common jackpot pool. The normal $1 million prize comes out of the individual jurisdiction's funds.

Actually, the USVI winner got almost $1.7 million, thanks to the Match 5 Bonus Prize. (Check this morning's news story.
