Guess what, that was FIVE of five. I had been checking a bunch of tickets that were a week or so old and came across it. I first checked against my own database and hurried over to ELE7VEN a few blocks away. When I was told the amount I thought it was only 4 but yes it was 5.Interesting side note: the SAME NUMBERS came out AGAIN!!!! a few weeks later! And the same thing happened again a year or so ago where a whole set of numbers repeated! The 2nd times were always relatively small amounts. The

Congrats! You are getting like me on the 'lucky for life' now. I hate that when you start seeing matches, and then you are so rudely cut off later. But money is money eh? I also hate it when that ONE pesky number away keeps you from some major life changes. Been there done that several times.I wonder what your reaction would have been if you would have seen this? Nothing in nature (or man-made) can be perfectly random. It's just hard for the human mind to look at a field of numbers and tease out subtle patterns. QP is far more random than the draw machine.The bar codes on the tickets are in binary. They are probably a translation of the serial number which the agent manually enters when the machine has trouble reading the ticket.If anyone wants to see the ticket when I got the Pick-5, let me know, I'll post it also. It's from 2002 though.

when im stumped or short on time i usually buy $5 qps and then wheel all the #'s inside that set from the $5..... I can only imagine , if u would have done that. lol congrats man beats my 4-0 from last week that got me nothing lol

No special talent is required to bet with a QP, however matching numbers on the QP with the numbers drawn is Luck. (Better known as Luck of the Draw) Talent (a natural endowment or ability of superior quality) is consistantly picking and betting on numbers that match the numbers drawn.

This is what mine looked like. Notice that on the leftmost ticket one of my algo's picked up the 17,but missed 2 other #s. Also notice bar codes are the dashed lines near the bottom.also they are from 3 different places

Extremely lucky and how!! As I'm sure you know GA offers partial QP to the point you can even select 1 number and let the computer do the rest. Applicable for 5 number games and above.

Konane:NJ only offers complete Quick Picks. You can't QP just the Mega Ball or just the five numbers. Therefore that QP means the whole line was a QP.I was at the store and realized that I forgot my betslips that I normally use, so I opted for Quick Picks -- a very lucky mistake.

Todd, on your ticket I don't see QP by the white balls, but do see QP by the Mega Balls. If your ticket were the result of QP-ing all the numbers, wouldn't it show on both panels? Did you select and wheel the whites and QP the Mega Balls

I agree...2 weeks ago I hit 4 of 6 on the NJ Pick 6, and of course was one number away an another, I was happy with the $70 prize (high for 4/6). New Jersey's RNG can sometimes be the pits, or good in your case....mostly low numbers. I had one ticket this past draw that was mostly all high numbers, not counting the mega ball, I had 3 different numbers that three times showed, plus three other numbers that were twice shown, unfortunatly they were all high numbers. NY has ticket-validating machines that used to be available only at Quick Draw locations. Still not all NY retailers have one. You still have to have an agent put the ticket in the terminal.

I had something similar on nj Mega. I had 3 white balls and the bonus ball... and on the line right ABOVE IT, 1 white ball plus bonus. AND on a 2nd ticket, 2 white balls and bonus. AND on a THIRD, just bonus ball.. comes out to 165 dollars I think! NO KIDDING. I can post a GIF if you don't believe me. However they were not QP, they were selected using my Blue algorithm (for the 3+1) and my Purple algo (for the other matches).

Check out my winning ticket from Mega Millions on Friday! The drawing results were 08-17-25-28-53 + 01; check out the middle line. Also, check out where the missing #28 is! (One number away from $250,000, oh well.)

Interesting also is the groupings of numbers, showing that the QP generator in the NJ lottery machine is not all that good. Getting a 3+0 and a 4+0 on one ticket defies the odds, yet here it is. Right now I'm loving that faulty Quick Pick RNG
