It usually messes up my algorithms bigtime when #s increase/decrease but I still got something 2 fridays ago.Powerball did the same thing but they didn't change the bonus ball.A worse mistake is when News reporters get MegaMillions and Powerball confused. They should just combine them

Yes, try going to USA Mega (link on left) and click on Statistics. At the bottom of the page it gives the full lowdown on all the different versions of Mega Millions.

The mega recently change to 56 balls and reduced the mega ball to 46

Sorry if this is a newbie mistake but I noticed some incorrect numbers for the MegaBall in the MegaMillions recent winning numbers. The MegaBall is 1-46 but on 1/14/05 the winning MegaBall is recorded as 50. Again 50 is listed as 12/28/04. On 10/29/04 48 is listed as the MegaBall. In total I found 14 times the MegaBall exceeded 46; how is possible? I checked several states' websites and all the lottery comissions have duplicated the error. Am I missing something?
