One thing about taxe laws, for every one written, another was written to get around it. Lawyers and rich politicians wrote the laws. They always make sure there is an out. You just have to be able to afford the out. I never heard a multi-millionaire going broke over taxes, only mis-management of taxes.

Well no matter what anyone does theres going to be the IRS and most likeley your state in you pocket.Theres something called the gift tax. If your freind gives you a million bucks tommorow. You have to pay taxs on it.Your not going to get out of them. And if you do. You'll probably be in prison like Al Capone for tax evasion..LOL

It seems there sure is one Euro Millions winner - Spanish(?). Anyway, Congratulations! 8 weeks ago both EM and MM were hit on the same night - 93M in France and 250M in NJ.I am just wondering what would happen to Mega Millions tonight. Good luck, everyone

Well, I don't know about the USA, but in India you are allowed to receive any amount of money as a gift from a natural born sibling...so if someone was to win it here and wanted to bring it into the country they could legally do it through these means and again not pay any tax on it. However, for any lotto won here, it 40% tax

Again, taxes is a discussion item. Avoid paying when its legal. However, as a deterant to millions of dollars - I couldn't care less about the IRS. As I've said before, I would be aat the top of the complainers list, but would smile when I saw the leftovers.I don't bet PTS for any in-country they offer. Euromillions is tax free....if one of you wins it you come under the windfall thing in the UK atleast.....I'm playing for it this time as well...the jackpot is 30 million pounds

So, say 3% state tax, would make you not take a chance on $225M? I'm not sure any one cares about the tax, they may complain, but they don't care - not enough to stop gambling. NYC has tax on top of tax and people line up to play.How honest are they? Look for the complainer. May I ask how safe this service is? When you win lets say $600. Do they take there 1% cut then?How honest is this service? Noticed that they also allow for purchasing PB and Mega...What state do they use as home base? this makes a difference when going to claim the prize as certain states do have state tax wihtholdings.
