I don't play a lot of MM, PB, and CA SLP. I rather wait until the big jackpots in order to gamble.

I'm come to the same conclussion. Until it hits the $100M annuity mark, I'm not going there any more. Between the drive time, and the upcoming snow days, I'm backing off.

I play every MM draw. When the pot gets bigger, I throw more cash at it. I only play PB when it's over $200 million. I have to drive 20 miles to do it, so I wait until it's worth the drive.

For Mega Millions I try to play every draw. For Powerball it's the opposite.

I play both games (PB MM). I play 20 20 (little woman and my #'s) but we both agree no more PB until it hits 100 million and then it gets our 20 bucks! MM on the other hand is played every draw (20 bucks). And now that it's as high as it is, I throw 25 bucks at it and the little woman still plays her 10 bucks, she won't play any more than that until it hits 300 million.

I play the same every draw $1.00QP and $1.00 my numbers I do this for both the MM and PB. I spend $8.00 per week. Since I don't drink (often) or smoke this is my one indulgence. Besides that one time you don't play will be the time your numbers come in. As always I'm Destinedtowin. good luck to all that play.

With the bigger numbers, I have been playing both PP MM - and started into EM.With fate decides to give me the finger, I want to be ready to jump on it and spin. I can't do that from the sidelines.

I like to play a little all the time even though I do not win all the time because I feel like at any time that I have a ticket I have a chance at a big prize.

Voted a Little often. reason: Gotta be in the game to have the chance to win the game. I no longer look for the BIG hit on the Major games i.e Mega or Powerball. Im plum tickled to break even or gain a few bucks. Gosh, getting $200,000 would be great in my book! or even 10k. :) . My feet are planted firmly on the ground and my dreams still remain in the sky.

I play at least ONE quick pick for ever Powerball drawing, no matter what. If it's at least $125 million, I play two; if it's at least $250 million, I play three. As for Mega Millions, I only play when that pot is at least $250 million, and Powerball is under $250 million, since it's not in the state where I live, and I never buy more than one ticket per drawing for that game. Well I used to, and still play a few every draw. But I am going to change to more tickets once a month, and team up with the family. I would rather have a lot more shots at it once in awhile, as opposed to a few shots every draw.

The other reason to sit out a drawing is when you have a system that works off of historical draws and you have too many probable hits that you can't narrow down your list to a manageable number.

I voted Wait a while and play a LOT every once in a while. Living in the land of the lotteryless (Alabama), playing a lot once in a while is about your only option. It's not worth driving to the state lines of more progressive states that have lotteries (GA, TN, and FL) every weekend (about 3-1/2 hours round trip for GA and TN, and 7-1/2 hours for FL).Multi draws help, but in Fantasy 5 games, which are my favorite, you can only play 14 (GA and TN) or 30 draws (FL). The odds of winning the powerball are 1/146,107,962. With those kind of odds, it may be wise to play a lot once in a while. However, a lot of jackpot winners won only playing 5 quick picks.
