the question is How many different combinations come out a crossed referened with all states? All 10,000 I don't think so. This task should be pretty easy for you, your a platinum member get all the pick 4 history from each state say for one year and put it note pad or word pad then using the tool found on this site deflate it and or inspect it this should give you some semblance of which numbers hit the most the least etc. Everything you need can be found on this site.

Raven62 yes this is excatly my point. If you can take a chart of all 10,000 combination and cross reference them with all combinations that have come out this year or even multiple years. Which not sure if that is a good thing to do since a lot of lottery states change balls but, for most states they don't. CT uses the same machine to draw the mid-day pick 3 with the pick 4. They just have a extra chamber to pull the pick 4 after the pick 3 is done. Most of the time the #'s repeat eithier in the... [ More ]

Maryland's lottery has been around for like 30 yrs and there are still close to 4000 pick 4 numbers that haven't been drawn. So in theory your idea would be ideal but that's not the real world many numbers have hit 6/5/4/3/2 times straight. Thereby slowing the rate at which the whole spread will eventually be hit. At the rate the non hit numbers are being drawn it could take another 15 yrs before they are all hit in straight order. If not longer.
