No, I don't control that website. As I had posted a few times here at Lottery Post, I found them through an extensive search that I did after Playlot went out of business. I researched all the normal sites that come up with Google searches, and found that most of the ones that come up are either complete scams or run by one guy who is doing things in such a way that if you were to win, your entry may not be valid. Some places don't even buy the tickets that they claim to.As a result of my res... [ More ]

I've been meaning to ask about MM online. I've played twice. (won both times! whew hoo) But how does it really work if someone plays online and wins the jackpot? With Prime Ticket, they put your itty bitty winnings in an account. It says if you win the jackpot than they'll claim it for you and wire the money to you. Does Todd control this feature? (I don't know the man, but he seems like a honest one) Where are the tickets bought?Any information you can give me, I'd appreciate it... [ More ]

There are services that sell them online, but be careful. There are some that aren't on the up and up, including one which will cap your winnings no matter how high the jackpot is. If you're in Louisiana and you want a MegaMillions ticket that badly, I'd get up early one morning on your day off, and drive to the Texas line.Good luck.PrisonerSix

I drive to other states to buy my MM tickets. Heck I just went to New Jersey today and bought my 25 bucks worth. I was heading that way today anyway, so I drove an extra 15 miles to get to the NJ state-line! NJ has no state tax on the lottery winnings! I make most of my runs to Maryland (20 miles each way) which has a state tax of 5% on the winnings of out of state players. I don't run that often to NJ, because it's 45 miles one-way and to make that trip twice a week would be a lot of gas money... [ More ]

Bluekat, I would suggest you buy your tickets in Texas because Texas has no state taxes and is closer than Georgia. Georgia does have sales tax that is added after people choose annunity or cash. Every state has federal tax no matter who wins jackpot.
