Bradly60, unfortunately someone in CA won the MM jackpot of $315+ million. There were 19 other 2nd tier winners including 3 in CA. Congratulations to the winning ticket in CA.

I predict multiple winners with the set of numbers that was just picked tonight. I would be very surprised if no one, or just one person, won. Low numbers and high numbers plus the number 7 for the megaball mean more winners...We will see...

I think sales would cause them to adjust the jackpot. They have to error on the side of caution on predicting pots though so they can have some kind of guarantee that sales will actually cover the jackpot amount.

Oh yeah, if they advertise that, MM may end up selling over 200 MILLION tickets for Friday's draw!! MM has never accomplished that before, and PB has accomplished that only once, in August 2001.

Too low.If they advertise $380 million, fine, the jackpot will be $380m.But if you advertise $400 million, increased sales will push the jackpot to $400m.Why not advertise the larger amount

If nobody matches all six numbers tonight, the Mega Millions jackpot will jump to an astonishing $380 million dollars the largest jackpot in U.S. history! The previous highest jackpot was a $363 million prize for the Big Game in May of 2000. This was taken from the Michigan Lottery's website press release about the increase in the MM jackpot.
